Road to the CGS
Recently, the CGS announced the dates and location to the Region 1 Combine and Draft. My team and I are very excited for this event and we're practicing harder than ever in hopes of being drafted for the upcoming season. Throughout the next few weeks I'll be blogging a little bit about what we are doing to prepare and how well everything is going. In a few weeks we're going to hold a weekend bootcamp at my home in Milwaukee - hopefully we'll get some pictures from that and I'll upload them to the site. Tonight we play Carolina Core on de_tuscan at 9:00 CST for those of you who are interested in watching.

Today, I posted a new Premium article called "Five Atypical Uses of Smokes". I think the impact smokes can make in a round is often overlooked and this article outlines additional uses of smokes that I think most players really either don't know or don't use. Be sure to check out the article and look forward to a new commentary coming this Wednesday.

Super Bowl Sunday
Well today is Super Bowl Sunday - it is a pretty depressing day for me since my beloved Brett Favre and the Packers are not participating in it. I doubt I'll even watch the game because it just upsets me seeing them not in it. Oh well...just going to have to wait for another year. I hope everyone watching it has a good time.

Anyhow, I have posted this weeks new article - Strat School: The Guide to Dynamic Calling. This article goes into the basics of dynamic calling - it explains when you should use dynamic calls vs set strats and how to forumlate strats on-the-fly. It should be a good resource for all in-game leaders out there, novice or experienced. This Wednesday there will be a new commentary posted done by one of my teammates, Mustang, from our most recent match on train vs XFX in CEVO-P. Also, tomorrow night at 9cst is our next match against x3o and I hope that some of you can come watch it.

One final reminder is we do have an irc on channel on gamesurge, #juansource. In there, I try to answer more questions and post updates on new content coming out. If you're a member to the site, pm me in the channel and I'll give you access to it as soon as I can.

Welcome and What's to Come
I welcome all of you to the newly released juansource.com. I'm very excited about this project and I hope it proves highly beneficial to all the players out there who use it as a resource.

In the coming weeks, users will see several new demo commentaries from recent CEVO-P matches from players like STRuK from eGe, sasquatcH from devastation, n0it from Pandemic, more from paradox and myself, and hopefully plenty of other great players to add to the content already here at juansource.

As for this week, on Sunday I will be posting another Strat School column that goes in-depth into explaining how to create a solid variety of strats for your arsenal to counter the mix of different playstyles you encounter. This next Wednesday, a new commentary will be posted, likely from one of my upcoming CEVO-P matches this week on train versus x3o or XFX.

I encourage all new visitors to first please check out the member benefits page, then continue to check out all the great content posted so far. Thanks for visiting!
