Reporting In
Hey Juansourcers! Griff here again with another blog. Lots and lots of stuff going on right now in CS:S and in the Juansource community so I figured I'd give another status report. On the personal front, my team (zomblerz) played a best of three series last night vs. Feared Fraggers for the CEVO-p PT. I posted up the SrcTV info on the forums and I hope some of you guys were able to check it out. We won the series 2-1 with wins on de_inferno and de_dust2 and a loss on de_scorch. FF played well and fought hard so I wanna say GJ to them and GL in the rest of the tournament. Also, for those who play, I did start playing a little WoW again with some of my friends on the server Alleria where I'm playing a human priest. I can't play too much because it will interfere with my CS:S playing as well as my work here, but it's fun to be able to get in a relaxing game or two every now and then to take a break. We are playing Eximius Sports on de_season for our first match of ESEA-i on Wednesday of this week so as soon as I get the info for that I will post it in the forums so you guys can tune in if you want. Season isn't our best map but after playing vs x3o and fixing some problems on it, I will be excited to see what we can do on it now. Who knows, maybe after this week it will be our best! I can only hope (:
In more important news, Juansource now has an irc channel on gamesurge which is #juansource. Any premium members who join the channel will receive voice and I'm working on getting all of the players who post content on our site to idle there so we can hang out and chat some. I hope to see you guys there right away! Also, we are working on getting our steamgroup updated so that each time there is new content posted on the site, you will receive an update right away on steam so you can check it out. So, please join the Juansource group on steam, its public and I encourage you to invite as many friends as possible, the bigger it gets the better. Guys, I've been getting a lot of positive feedback from you all and it has lifted my spirits even more. I really want this site to be THE PLACE where people go to learn and improve their CS:Source game. Help us out, and we're gonna help YOU out. I've had so many positive experiences in my life due to playing games and I hope that with the knowledge and community you will find here, you can as well.
